Gaylene Smith traveled to Western Province, Kenya, in February. While in Western Province, Gaylene encountered a hospital with no running water, mud huts for schools, wide spread poverty, and a population of people with unwavering religious strength. She delivered 450 feminine hygiene kits, and assessed water projects, classroom construction and feeding programs.
